A Love That Found Me and Never Let Go

A REAL Story of Healing, Hope, and a Love That Transforms

·      There’s a kind of love the world cannot give.

·      A love that doesn’t walk away.

·      A love that doesn’t need perfection.

·      A love that doesn’t demand performance.

·      That love is found in Jesus.

I know this love not just because I’ve read about it, but because I’ve lived it. I’ve experienced His love in deep and personal ways: in the silent places of my childhood, in the scary unknowns of adulthood, and in every moment in between.

This blog isn’t just about knowing God loves you. It’s about embracing that truth, even if you come from pain, loss, or feelings of abandonment.

Even if you’re struggling to believe in love, you cannot physically see it.

💔 When A Father’s Absence Shapes Our View of God

As a child, I longed to connect with a loving father.

However, the truth is that my dad was absent for most of my childhood. He left when I was young and never returned.

That kind of abandonment leaves a silent ache. It shapes how we perceive ourselves and our understanding of love. It also complicates how we view God’s love.

How was I supposed to trust an invisible God when the father I could see chose not to stay?

Even when I wanted to believe that God loved me, I struggled. My heart had learned to build walls instead of trust. The God of the Bible seemed so different from the dad I knew. How could I trust Him?

But this is where faith takes wings and where I began a divine journey of healing.

A Journey from Fear to Faith

My relationship with Jesus started when I was just a little girl. I remember hiding under my bed, whispering prayers through tears and Jesus meeting me right there in the dark.

He calmed my fears and stilled my doubts.

I remember Him showing up during my tumultuous teenage years, when life felt confusing, lonely, and scary. I didn’t have much, but I had Him. He was my quiet strength and my inner compass.

When I migrated to the United States, it was overwhelming to start over in a new culture. But Jesus was there. He anchored me.

He walked with me through:

     Heartbreak and healing

     Family struggles

College years filled with pressure and uncertainty

·      Shedding the mindset that said “I am not enough”

·      He blessed me with a husband who became the opposite of the negative experiences I had known loving, present, and consistent. It was through this relationship that I saw the redemptive nature of God’s love on full display.

·      Through parenthood, ministry, church hurt, grief, pain, rejection, and confusion, Jesus never left my side.

·      His love was not just there in the hard times. He authored the good times, too.

·      He was just as present in the joy: salvation, college graduation, marriage, childbirth, and so much more.

·      Jesus’ love is real, healthy, forgiving, therapeutic, restoring, and transformative.

·      His love changed me, saved me, and rewrote my story.

What Is the Love of Jesus?

Let’s break it down through the word L.O.V.E.:

L – Limitless

There are no conditions to His love. You can’t outrun it, out-sin it, or outgrow it.

“For I am convinced that neither death nor life… will be able to separate us from the love of God.” — Romans 8:38–39

O – Overflowing

God doesn’t give you just a portion of His love. He lavishes it.

“See what great love the Father has lavished on us…” — 1 John 3:1

V – Victorious

His love overcomes shame, fear, sin, and abandonment. It restores identity and purpose.

“Perfect love casts out fear.” — 1 John 4:18

E – Enduring

His love does not expire, fade, or walk away. It’s eternal and unwavering.

“I have loved you with an everlasting love…” — Jeremiah 31:3

When Love Feels Hard to Believe

If you’ve never known a loving father or if the people you trusted most let you down, please hear me:

God is not like them.

·      He does not abandon. He does not manipulate. He does not disappoint.

·      He leans in when others lean out.

·      He remains faithful when others walk away.

“Though my father and mother forsake me, the Lord will receive me.”

 Psalm 27:10

God is not a reflection of your earthly father. He is the perfection of everything a father should be.

·      You don’t have to earn His love.

·      You don’t have to perform.

·      You don’t have to chase it.

·      You only need to receive it.

📖 More Scripture Reminders of His Love:

• “But God demonstrates His own love for us in this: While we were still sinners, Christ died for us.” Romans 5:8

• “Because of His great love for us, God, who is rich in mercy, made us alive with Christ…” Ephesians 2:4-5

• “The steadfast love of the Lord never ceases…” Lamentations 3:22-23

• “We love because He first loved us.” 1 John 4:19

✝️ Final Encouragement

Dear Friend,

You are L.O.V.E.D. by Jesus. Not because you’re perfect. Not because you never struggle. But because God is love, and loving you is who He is. Jesus’ love didn’t just save me, it sustained me. It healed the holes left by abandonment. It filled the gaps of pain with peace. It lifted me when life broke me down, and it can do the same for you. Let His love be the anchor, the foundation, and the safe place for your soul. You are seen, known, and completely loved today and always.

If this blog post spoke to you, don’t keep it to yourself, please share it with someone else who needs it too.”
